This is what I look like. As you can see, I'm a very cool cat. That's because I live in Amsterdam, which is a very cool town to be. I was born in August 1993 in Portland, Oregon, USA. Portland is also where I grew up. As I'm an adventurous cat, I got all excited when Kirsten, Goombah and I moved to the Netherlands in 1997. And although I like it here very much, I'm stil holding on to my US Catizenship. |

I and my family (Kirsten and Pieter and my fellow cat Goombah) live on Java Island in Amsterdam, which used to be a harbour area bristling with energy, but now has been converted to a yuppie district. We live in a tall canal house, which is, of course, on a canal ! Kirsten calls our house the Jammin' Salmon In case you are wondering where the canal is, it's there alright. It was opened by some big shots of the city council in June 2000, but since I'm always busy with my hobbies, I haven't had time yet to make a decent picture. Most of the other cats on our street are fun as well. In particular, there's a little black and white cat and a big orange once that both live two doors away, but apparently this our house is theirs as well, since they aren't afraid to come in and walk up the stairs. And they even haven't been invited! Even worse: they think it's perfectly OK to have a bite out of my chow bowl without my permission. |
